# Day 5 — Titles that get clicks without becoming lies

**Length target:** 6 minutes

## Voiceover script

Clickbait works until trust debt comes due.
Faceless channels burn trust faster because there’s no parasocial face to apologize with.

Title formulas that inflate CTR and destroy return visits:

- “I made $10k” when you made a hypothetical
- “Do this to escape your job” when the video is a definition essay
- “Banks hate this” energy on a calculator tutorial

Title formulas that still compete without fraud:

- Specific curiosity: “What a $4 RPM actually pays at 50k views”
- Process: “Building a faceless script in public — day 5”
- Contrast: “Passive income vs deferred labor”

For EXP-004 we will score titles on two axes: curiosity and honesty.
If honesty is below a threshold, we don’t publish the title — even if a CTR predictor loves it.

That’s a deliberate constraint. Growth hacks that require lying are outside the lab.
