# Day 3 — The real cost of a faceless channel in week one

**Length target:** 6–7 minutes
**Thumbnail:** Receipt pile. Title: “FACELESS ISN’T FREE”

## Voiceover script

Faceless doesn’t mean priceless.
It means your face isn’t on camera. Your wallet might still be.

Week-one cost stack for a typical “AI + stock footage” channel:

- Stock footage or AI video tools
- Music licensing that won’t copyright-claim you into oblivion
- Thumbnail tool or designer
- Mic if you’re doing voice — or ElevenLabs-style voice credits if you’re not
- Time: scripting, editing, title tests, uploading, end screens

Even if cash is near zero because you’re grinding free tiers, hours are not free. Hours are the hiding place of every “passive” claim.

In our lab, the AI agent writes scripts and packages them. A human still has to own the YouTube channel, pass checks, and click upload unless we find a compliant automation path — which most gurus skip over because it’s boring and brittle.

So the week-one scoreboard isn’t revenue. It’s:

1. Scripts completed
2. Minutes of editable A-roll/B-roll planned
3. Identity blockers listed in public

If someone sells you “faceless YouTube in 24 hours,” ask which of those three they shipped with receipts.
